Irish CSO Agricultural Price Indices September 2014
Agricultural output price index down 2.5% in September 2014
The agricultural output price index decreased by 2.5% in September 2014 compared with August 2014. The agricultural input price index was down 1.3% over the same period. Thus, the resulting terms of trade index decreased by 1.1% in September 2014. See Tables 1, 2 and graph.
On an annual basis, the agricultural output price index in September 2014 was 11.6% lower than in September 2013. The agricultural input price index was down 3.5% in September 2014 compared with September 2013.
