Weekly Trends: Compared to last week slaughter lambs were very uneven, 2.00-20.00 lower at New Holland, PA and Ft. Collins, CO and steady to 5.00 higher at San Angelo, TX and Sioux Falls, SD. Slaughter ewes were steady to 10.00 lower, except firm to 5.00 higher at San Angelo. Feeder lambs were steady to 5.00 lower. At San Angelo, TX 5107 head sold. Equity Electronic Auction sold 341 slaughter lambs in North Dakota. In direct trading slaughter ewes were not tested and no comparison on feeder lambs. 5,000 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were steady to 3.00 lower. 9200 head of formula sales had no trend due to confidentiality. 4,222 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs and down 4.45 lower; 45-75 lbs no trend due to confidentiality; 75 lbs and up 8.10-8.30 higher. All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.
