Weekly Trends: Compared to last week heavy slaughter lambs were steady to 4.00 lower; light slaughter lambs were steady to 5.00 higher. Slaughter ewes were mostly steady to 8.00 lower. Feeder lambs were firm to 5.00 higher. At San Angelo, TX 3891 head sold in a one day sale. Equity Electronic Auction sold 577 slaughter lambs in Oregon and Nebraska. In direct trading slaughter ewes and feeder lambs were not tested. 4400 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were weak. 12,600 head of formula sales had no trend due to confidentiality. 5,996 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs and down 51.02 higher; 45-55 lbs and up had no trend due to confidentiality; 55-65 lbs 6.35 lower; 65-75 lbs 1.74 lower; 75-85 lbs 3.08 lower and 85 lbs and up no trend due to confidentiality. All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.
