Weekly Trends: Compared to last week slaughter lambs were steady to 20.00 higher. Slaughter ewes were steady. Feeder lambs were not well tested. At San Angelo, TX 1824 head sold in a weather shortened sale. Equity Electronic Auction sold 615 slaughter lambs in Nebraska. In direct trading slaughter ewes and feeder lambs were not tested. 5100 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were steady. 9900 head of formula sales under 65 lbs were not tested; 65-75 lbs were 5.00-6.00 higher; 75-95 lbs were 1.00-3.00 lower and over 95 lbs were not tested. 7,032 carcasses sold with 45 lbs and down 1.46 higher; 45-55 lbs 20.54 higher and 55 lbs and up 2.28-2.43 lower. All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.
