Weekly Trends: Compared to last week slaughter lambs mostly steady and slaughter ewes were steady to mostly lower, with instance as much as 10.00 lower in Sioux Falls, SD. Feeder lambs were steady in a light test.

In direct trading slaughter ewes and feeder lambs were not tested. 4600 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were steady to 2.00 lower.

Formula sales of slaughter lambs under 65 lbs not well tested;65-75 lbs were 5.00 to 6.00 lower; 75-95 lbs 2.00 to 3.00 lower; over 95 lbs were 4.00 to 5.00 lower.

5,715 lamb carcasses were mixed, carcasses 45#'s and lighter were 41.34 higher; 45-55 lbs were 13.30 higher; 55-65 lbs were 1.13 higher; and 65 lbs and heavier carcasses were 0.04 to 0.49 lower. All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.
