Compared to last week slaughter lambs were steady to as much as 20.00 higher. Slaughter ewes were steady to 10.00 lower, except at San Angelo, TX firm to 6.00 higher. Feeder lambs were steady to 6.00 higher. At San Angelo, TX 3661 head sold in a rain shortened one day sale. Equity Electronic Auction sold 1000 slaughter lambs in North Dakota, Iowa and Nebraska. In direct trading slaughter ewes were Steady with last test and feeder lambs were not tested. 9600 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs were steady and 7700 head of formula sales of carcasses under 65 lbs were not well tested; 65-75 lbs were 5.00- 6.00 higher; 75-85 lbs were steady and over 85 lbs were not well tested. 6,558 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs and down 12.76 lower and 45 lbs and up 1.21-2.86 higher. All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.
