Compared to last week slaughter lambs were uneven, steady to 3.00 higher at San Angelo, TX and Sioux Falls, SD and steady to 20.00 lower at New Holland, PA. Slaughter ewes were 5.00-10.00 higher at San Angelo, TX and St. Onge, SD and 3.00-20.00 lower at New Holland, PA and Ft. Collins, CO. Feeder lambs were steady to 4.00 higher. At San Angelo, TX 5749 head sold in a one day sale. No sales in Equity Electronic Auction. In direct trading slaughter ewes not tested and feeder lambs steady. 6100 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs under 170 lbs were steady to 3.00 lower and 5600 head of formula sales of carcasses under 55 lbs were not well tested; 55-65 lbs were steady to 1.00 higher; 65-85 lbs were 2.00-3.00 lower; and over 8 lbs were not well tested. 5,262 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs and down 30.91 higher; 45-55 lbs 14.60 higher; 55-65 lbs 3.38 higher and 65 lbs and up .64-1.38 higher. All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.
