Compared to last week slaughter lambs were uneven, firm to 5.00 higher at San Angelo, TX and Sioux Falls, SD and 10.00- 30.00 lower at New Holland, PA and Ft. Collins, CO. Slaughter ewes were steady to 5.00 lower, and at New Holland, PA 20.00-30.00 lower. Feeder lambs were steady to 10.00 higher. At San Angelo, TX 7338 head sold in a one day sale. No sales in Equity Electronic Auction. In direct trading slaughter ewes not tested and feeder lambs steady. 5800 head of negotiated sales of slaughter lambs under 170 lbs were steady to 2.00 higher and 6,000 head of formula sales of carcasses under 55 lbs were not well tested; 55-65 lbs were 15.00-20.00 higher; 65-75 lbs were 8.00-10.00 higher; 75-85 lbs were steady; 85-95 lbs were 3.00-4.00 higher and over 95 lbs had no test. 6,154 lamb carcasses sold with 45 lbs and down 43.19 lower; 45-55 lbs 16.25 lower; 55-65 lbs 1.75 lower and 65 lbs and up .39- .65 higher. All sheep sold per hundred weight (CWT) unless otherwise specified.
