Lambing and Kidding Season Advice From Purdue on Webinar

US - Hints on managing lambing and kidding seasons are being offered by a Purdue and Kentucky Extension on a sheep and goat webinar next month.

Three speakers will provide veterinary and small ruminant perspectives on management for sheep or goat operations. 

Running from 7-9pm EST, the free webinar is open to the public. 

Topics and speakers:

  • “Selection and Management to Increase Kidding Season Success,” Kenneth Andries, goat Extension specialist, Kentucky State University.
  • “Nutrition and Management in Late Gestation in Ewes and Does,” Mike Neary, Purdue Extension small-ruminant specialist.
  • “Dealing with Difficult Births in the Ewe and Doe,” Michael Hill, Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine.
