07 July 2014

UK - The North Wyke Research Farm, near Okehampton in Devon .is to open iyself up to sheep farmers on a farm walk organised by the National Sheep Association's South West Regional Committee.

The event in 8 July is open to all sheep farmers, NSA members and non-members alike, and starts at 3pm at the farm.

"The farm shepherd will explain the management of the current sheep flock and the in-house research scientists will describe some of their on-going projects.

"All sheep farmers are welcome and there will be light refreshments on arrival."

Formerly part of the Institute of Grassland and Environmental Research, North Wyke is integrated with Rothamsted Research, and so brings together BBSRC research on grassland and arable systems.
