Blue Tongue Outbreak in Greece

GREECE - A total of 80 outbreaks of Blue Tongue disease have been reported in Greeceover the last two months.

The cases have affected a total of nearly 10,000 sheep in 514 cases with 144 deaths.

The outbreaks have also affected 2,868 goats in seven cases with one death and 238 cattle in seven cases

All the cases are on Peloponnisos and standard control measures have been put in place.
