Sheep and Goat Pox Found in Kazakhstan

KAZAKHSTAN - There has been an outbreak of Sheep and Goat Pox in village sheep in Kazakhstan.

There were 80 cases in a population of 5061 sheep in Pervomaysk village, in the Ural'sk region.

Quarantine measures have been implemented, along with movement controls and vaccination.

The source of the outbreak is unknown.
